Immersive Series: Volume 01

In collaboration with Split Checks, a techno collective based in Riverside CA,  APORIA designed an interactive art installation displayed at their first collaborative warehouse event. Using TouchDesigner and Kinect V2, viewers are invited to observe a series of visuals transform and interact with the movement of their hands. The Kinect sensor tracks the positioning of the viewers hands which then controls the position, force and velocity of a focused particle grid.  This project marked the first collaboration between Split Checks and APORIA in creating an experience bridging sound and light.
